I had a fun week, first I got the LGT 165 back from a shop it had been in for a coupke of weeks, it had to be completely rewired and I finally give up on it. Runs and sounds great, but seems to have a lot of blow by and pumping oil out, probably needs rings. I am not going to run it much and go ahead and paint it and just park it at the show in Nov.my son used to say if it won't run chrome it, so I am going to paint it.I did get to ride it around the house a couple of times. Then as I was mowing with my Sears GT18 it broke the belt on the deck that runs all three blades. As I was taking the panel off the top of the deck I thought at first I had to remove the big center pulley to get the panel off, and after I got the nut off the pulley I realized it is made to just slip off.and it putting the nut back on with an impact wrench I got it to tight and jammed it so it would not spin. My friend said he had a puller and could pull it back in place which he did and all was well until he started to take it out of the vise and dropped on the cement floor. We have glued it back togther with J B Weld see pictures, there is no stress on that part of the pulley,so I am going to try and see if it will hold.

I am sorry to say...it won't hold long. I used to have some of those, but finally sold them all. Wish I had kept one for you now.

I agree with Daniel, probably wont hold long. And, that can be a HUGE safety hazard. Just imagine, one of those pieces comes loose and goes flying... there is no telling what could happen.

Might possibly destroy the belt when she comes apart too. Another maybe $30 for a new belt!

What is the ID for the shaft? You might find a temp replacement at TSC until you find the real thing.
