I have 3 weeks, but tons of things to do, so paint is not high on my "to do list". When I paint it, I'd rather do it right the 1st time, so I may not have that much time. I have 3 other Fall dairy meetings coming up that I have to do things in prep for them, do some political work if I want to win a spot for next year on the dairy boards, get things done for plow day, and make a living. Not to mention trying to finish the siding on the far end of my house before cold weather.

After the tractor show, I decided to go ahead & break this plow down for paint. Not going for show quality, but just a decent paint job. Got the moldboard/landslide & main upright parts blasted, primed, then shot with spray can of satin black. Out of satin black paint, but will get the gauge wheel/brackets blasted & under primer tomorrow, and hopefully the main beam & toolbar blasted.

Got the rest of the plow blasted & under primer. I'll have her done by end of week or sooner if nothing falls apart around here.

Now I know your reasoning for going with green! :flamewar: ......... :laughingteeth: .......... :smilewink: I have to admit, the green plows look good, just not with a red tractor! :orangecool:

I'm just seeing this thread for the first time...and you've already started, strike that, almost finished the restore on it! That's one heck of a plow Dan! Nice score and can't wait to see the finished product!
