Found this plow yesterday, and went to pick it up this morning on my way to a dairy meeting. Mileage paid to & from meeting, so no trip cost to get the plow. It is tagged Sears, but plainly built by Brinly, but has a major difference in the toolbar from all 12" 3 -point Brinly plows I've ever seen.
Paid $165 for it, which is a bargain. No wear at all to the point or moldboard, but needs cleaned up & painted. The gauge wheel has been bent a bit, but no biggie to straighten, and could be used as is.

Would have taken pics of the world of stuff this fella has, but was still dark when I picked up the plow this morning.

Nice plow, Daniel. I took the liberty of checking Sears Parts on this and the 'mast' is correct.

Is the 3 point pins sub-cat0 or are they regular cat 0 size?

May not have time to repaint it before plow day, but when I do, it's gonna be red. Not a Massey red though, more of an IH red, as what I will be painting my "Hogzilla" diesel JBI.
It's std Cat 0. Kinda neat having a rare plow, and different from the masses. Of course I will leave the ID plate intact.

Good stuff you got yourself one. Paint doesn't make them work but it does make them look nice.

Very cool and rare plow, glad you got it. That is going to look great behind the HOG.

No, I disbanded the double bottom into individual single plows. I seen no sense in cutting seat time in half, plus stressing my tractor's hydrostats pulling it. In some soils, it pulls the tractor mighty hard.

Must be pretty rare being nobody so far has seen one. She won't get paint before plow day as I just don't have the time. But I will shine up the moldboard/plowshare ahead of time.

I bet you could make a bigger model plate that says "Bush Hog" on it, just for kicks :)

Leave the Orig on there, and put yours over it.

I wonder if this plow was made for the FF series? Being std cat 0, 12", and 3 point?

I'd say almost surely this plow was for the FF, as it's pretty much thwe only model they had to pull it easy.

Wow, you guys even have meetings? :poke:

I am glad you got it for such a good price! And the pick up cost was paid for! I hope you can find some spare time to put a quick coat of paint to it before the plow day!
