So after many attempts to build a new barn (being told no because she insists i'll just buy more tractors).....not me, i did however get the "boss" to agree on this. Its 12 ft high in front & slopes to 10ft in back. I went 10ft deep & 15ft wide. Not bad for a weekend project. It'll be finished soon with a 1/2 wall & 2- 4ft barn doors across the front.....it's all about compromise......hmmmmmIMAG_0027.jpg IMAG_0028.jpg

I have two sheds, one was here when I moved in and the other I put up, also a 2 car garage. In 3 years time, both sheds are packed with toys and the garage too.

There are times where it's like a landmine field in the garage as you need to be careful where you walk to avoid the socket wrench I left out a year ago. It becomes muscle memory over time.

I say I need a barn, or something like yours, however, more space, more toys. Men don't build large storage sheds, barns, etc to simply look at them and bask at the glory of how nice and empty they look ;)

That looks great. Nice and dry and big time storage potential.
Now if you build another one and nose the two "Fronts" together, you'd end up 20X15 and even tho it'd look like a barn, it wouldn't be... just two "Sheds" very close together.

Yeah, mine wouldn't buy it either...

Put you a second level in and some long ramps and you will double your tractor storing capacity. :D

Nice shed! Is the half wall part of the compromise, so the wife can see what's in there?

I consider my 10X20 garage an oversized shed seeing I can't walk in it neither LOL !!! My complaint is, my house was built in 1941, what were they thinking, you get one of those lead sleds they drove back then in there, how the heck did they get out of it ?

Maybe you could jockey it out from the fence 4 or 5 feet, without the boss noticing.
With that back wall height, you could then add on out the back, when she's not looking, at
some time in the future. If you added 6 feet out the back, with an access door from the front
room, you could stash at least 4 more small GTs in there.
Nice work for a weekend BTW.

Nice job on your shed! You did a lot in a short period of time. Make sure to take a picture of the floor as soon as you get done building it and before you start moving tractors in. If it is like my garage it may be the last time you see the floor!
