I know it is not a GT but it is cool. My friend had a farmall cub in his shed that had not run in ten years. So we pulled it out the other day, drained the old gas, filled the radiator, and cleaned the points. Then we pulled it behind his truck it would fire for a little but would not run on its own. So we drug it back to the barn and took one of he spark plugs out and it was really really bad. So new plugs went in and the tractor came to life for the first time. The flat head 4 cylinder sounded so amazing running a straight pipe and burning oil. It was a great feeling to get it running

Nothing like breathing life back into an old tractor. Flat heads have a puuurrrr all their own.

Farmalls are neat tractors. Any pics by chance?

That's great. Glad to hear it has new life. Might want to try running some MMO through the oil. May clean things up a bit and help with the oil burning. If the new plugs carbon up pretty quick, it may be time for a set of rings for it. I have always wanted an older Cub. Think they are cool little tractors.

Boy do I know what you mean. One of my favorite things is breathing life back into a tractor that has sat for a while.

Last weekend, my Dad and I went to collect the leftovers from the parts tractor we gave my Uncle for his Pink Pacer project. I mentioned to Dad and Ryan that, even tho this old, rotten, broken frame would never run again... It did get to take one more victory lap around the farm before it became an organ donor. Felt really good to get it going.
