Real clean and all sheetmetal is straight. Showing 551 hrs on the clock? Previous owner said he bought it 8 yrs ago showing 123 he said it had sat unused for 12 yrs when he bought it.. This one is two wheel drive and tires are fair 1 new rear.
Comes with a 5 ft brush mower, 6 ft rear blade and a 3 point dirt scoop. Has chains loaded tires wheel weights anf front weights. I drove it around and everything works. in the meantime I'm going to read the owners manual.
Oh I gave $3200 for the package.
Will be picking it up tomorrow afternoon.

Uh well that could be another new adventure. I've never bought a digital phone. B ut there seems to be a pretty good camera on my IPAD.
So once it is home, I'll try to get some pictures and figure out how to post them.

Yes Brian this is a 1980 model tractor, so it's 32 yrs old. That would only work out to around 17 hrs per year?
Kind of hard to believe, but the owner I bought it from seems real reliable and I don't doubt he put 428 hrs on in the past 8 yrs(said it had 123 when he got it).
If it's true that the average owner puts 100 hrs average on per year, that would work out to 3200 hrs.
It apears to be low hours, but doubt I'll ever know for sure.
The paints a little faded but still looks like a well maintained machine. Dan said he primarily used it to skid logs out of the timber and keep his logging trails mowed. That in itself amazes me since it's so easy to skid into a tree in the woods.
He had not intended to sell it until his wife asked hin if he wanted a new tractor. He bought a larger new John Deere 30?? model escapes me. He threw the implemints in on the deal as he needs larger for that..

Congratulations on the buy! You will find plenty to do with it.....daughter made the statement today....they wanted to pull some plants out of a bed but did not think they could do it.....I reminded them I had the tractor at home and that it would not be an issue.....have fun with it!

Congratulations on the new purchase. The low hours are a plus. I think I've had my Bolens compact tractor for over 10 years and have only put about 200 hours on it.

Can't wait for the IPAD pictures.

So where are these pics anyway???????? :smilewink: I think it was a 1500 Ford I saw on a part timer dealer's lot the other day. Big rear tires, and a hefty built tractor to boot!
