I had to go back to texarkana, AR. today to start up a burner on a rotary dryer. Last trip took 7+hrs to get from home to the job. Today's trip was just a little shorter travel time, just under 2hrs thanks to this guy showing up 10 minutes from the house to pick me up.

And no TSA strip searching me in front of a thousand people, even took my truck right out on the tarmac to load up some parts I needed to take with me.

Bob, I wanted to, but they cruised at 22,000 ft. so it was very hard to pick out any GT's :(

Yeah Bob, that's the first thing that went thru my mind... the cargo area doesn't look big enough for serious GT hunting.

Nice ride Brian, are you in the market for one now? ^_^

Thanks Alan, But those are too small for what I want to do. Dad and I were talking/day dreaming on the flight and decided we needed a "727 Cargo Special" to do what we want to do. :laughingteeth:

I tried to get them to fly at 500ft and 170 knots, they just laughed at me. I can't understand why, can you.

What's the cruising speed?

From my experience I would guess in the 250 to 300 mph. range
