This project is being posted on 3 forums with the same thing being posted on each forum at the same time and I wasn't going to post any more photos until the crawler was finished.
The members here at GTT are by far much more active in posting comments and asking questions than any other forum that I've been on, so I have decided to give you a sneak preview with a couple of photos that will not be posted on the other forums.

The loader has always been the same color as the crawler but I decided to dress it up a little this time and paint the lifting arm assembly a contrasting color.

I was wondering what part would be yellow. Now I know! That is going to look great on there! Awesome, Ray!

Ray I think that will look really sharp with the contrasting color, those who might get in a twist over the not period correct color choice gotta remember it is yours to do with as you wish!!! Thanks for the sneak preview too!!

Believe it or not we used to piant the tracks on our Tanks when I was stationed in West Berlin.

Same here, the end connectors, track pins and center guides were all painted flat black or olive drab. Sort of a waste of time but it gave us something to do while "waiting for the balloon to go up".

If they can get past the fact that Lindeman never made a loader for these crawlers, than I don't think the color is going to bother them much.

Ray, that will look awesome with the yellow loader. Oh, and it will also make it easier in the future to recognize the pre restoration era of your Lindeman. :D
