I have decided it would be best for me to sell this Sears that I recently acquired. It is in great shape for it's age. There are a couple of things that are not original. One would be the lights, second would be something with the reversing lever, another is something with the steering wheel where it mounts on the shaft and also the motor has been replaced with a Tecumseh but they did a nice job fitting it. It has hubcaps on the front wheels, rear wheel weights and a mower deck. I used it today to mow some grass with and it did a great job mowing.

I am asking $250 OBO.

I would really like to see this go to someone who will take care of it and possibly restore it. I am lowering price on it to $250 or best offer.

Just dropped the price on it again. Would really like to see this gone and go to a good home. It's not that I don't like the tractor, just have way too much on my plate and no room to store it inside.

Really wish you would of posted this about 3 months ago... Its a really good looking machine, doesn't even look like it needs restored, but I don't have the cash. If nobody buys it I would be happy to take it once I get the funds. A shot it the dark, but would you trade it for my '38 Shaw Peppy-Pal?

Dane,
I can't say I would be interested in another tractor to trade only because we don't have the room for anymore right now. It's no hurry to get rid of it either so if you would want it and want to make an offer on it I could hold on to it till whenever you would want to pick it up and pay for it.

It wouldn't be until around PAPD... If you can sell it, then do it, but I'm interested.
