I am seeking a Carter model N carb for my K301 without spending ebay prices for probably works. Looking to not spend more than 50 bucks for good working carb, shoot me some offers.

Hi. I have a couple NOS in the box carbs for the k301 PN 47-853-24S and 47-053-60S. I don't believe the Kohler came with a Carter unless you have a really old engine. I can let you have one of them for $75 plus shipping if your interested.

I have a 1966 Kohler engine. Could you post a pic of the carbs to see if I can use either style?

You have a few nos #26's ? Hmmmmm That doesnt sound like a bad price.I would might be intristed in one of them if you had another to part with.

Sal, If he has more than one for sale go for it. I'm not saying it is a bad price, just questioning my ability to use it without messing with my governor linkages...

I'd like to see some of those pics too! Just an FYI, Carter made the carbs for Kohler in the early years and most of them were identical to the model N in appearance and form. There may have been some minor differences on the inside, but if you have a good mower shop with a stock of parts, they can probably get you the correct throttle shafts and choke shafts to make the carb configuration match your original governor linkage.
