Yes and no LOL. The 607 in particular was only made for one year...but that's because the "7" in the model number represents the year of production, i.e. 1967. It was the last year for the tractors with that type of number designation. There was a 603, 604, 605, and 606 tractor as well which all had the Techy H60 in them (different spec numbers though) and all had the same transaxle (I think). This info is from a list and not personal experience, so there may have been subtle differences in the tractors themselves (different dash, different control locations, etc...) but I do not know that for sure. Thanks for rescuing it from the crusher! We'd like to see some pics of it when you get the chance even though it's just a pile of parts.

Toro lists the 607 as using a 5043 model Uni-drive transmission but believe this is a typo and should be 5053. Have never found any evidence there was a 5043.

Thanks for the pics Littledeere! What kind of shape is the mower deck in? If it's decent, it's probably worth the price you paid for the whole unit! That's a great rescue if you ask me! There are a lot of good parts there! The front tires and wheels look to be OK. The hood is in really nice shape. The rear axle hitch is also there. Too many parts to list! What are your plans for it?

Kenny, like Steve said, it is a 1967, TEC ,manual start 6HP 3sp gt. We used to build lite class pullers out of that model. They a great little trim around the building mower also.
