I just bought a sears ss12. I traded an engine I had for it. I dont have it just yet, but it will be here tomorrow at 7PM (waiting sucks).
But, it comes with a mower deck. I am pumped anything I should watch out for?

congrats on the Sears!! i can't think of any problem areas you need to watch out for.

That should be a good tractor. I've been running an SS14, since 1971, with very few problems.

Great looking ride, is the hood ornament stock? Makes me want to put Mac Truck ornament on mine.

I hope you never find a reason to remove the steering wheel........

No the hood ornament is like for mooring a boat. Ya, I dont want to remove the steering wheel. Its still al LONG way from a restoration.
