Hello All,
Just picked up a Promaster 50 about a 1983 with 16 hp Koler. The engine runs good the rest of it is a little rough . I'm needing for a manual for it. I paid about 20¢ a pound for it, don't guess that was too much . Any idea of value? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
Ted

Hey, I know this is old now, but I just ran across it because I just picked up a Promaster 16-G which just a newer Promaster 50.  One of the guys on another forum helped me out so I thought I would pay it forward.

Mine is missing the numbers, so some of the stuff he posted is because of that.

Here is what he posted:

> A PM 50 and a PM 16G are indded the same design mower. PM-50 from 1982 till
1988. In mid 1988 there were some design changes and the name change. One of the
model numbers for the PM-16G units is 45533. 989005 is another.
> apache.ariens.com/manuals/08429300_ENG.pdf is an addendum to the OM.
> apache.ariens.com/manuals/52846.pdf is the IPL addendum.
> apache.ariens.com/manuals/34837.pdf is the service manual.
> They just used the 1983-1988 versions of the manuals and added the above to
them. The SM is the whole thing and is a copy from 1983.
> Production of them ended in 1992.

Radar to look up the parts there or at
http://www.homestead...ts?aribrand=GRV and select Zero turn
mowers and then Promaster-50.

You can also go to http://gravely.custhelp.com/

and then click on "Find Manuals".  On the next page click on the big red "Gravely Manuals" in the the center of the page.

Now fill in your model and serial #'s and check the boxes for all the manuals. Pick English and click on "Electronic Manual Search/View".  Open the manuals and save a copy.

PS  If you don't have your numbers, use model # 45533

and serial # 000101 and it will give you all the manuals.
