Sounds like a great trip, what were you driving?

We were in the wife's '05 Tahoe, it turned over 175K miles yesterday. It get's 18 MPG which isn't too bad for that size automobile loaded with four adults, two little bags for the men and who knows how many bags for the women.

Did you find any GTs in your travels?

About a month before the trip I started looking on Craigslist in the cities we would be spending the night in for whatever was available at a good price that I might be able to load on or in the Tahoe. There was a guy in Reno who had a small hydraulic pump, tank, cylinder, hoses and valve he removed from his GT that operated his front blade for $75. I sent him a money order a couple weeks before we left and while my wife was being entertained by the slot machines at Harrah's I went to his house and picked it up. He only lived about 6 miles north of Harrah's on the same street. Packed it all in a box, put in two boxes of baking powder to cut down on the hydraulic oil smell and double trash bagged the box. Worked great, no one even knew it was in the back except me.

Here's some pictures:

1. Grand Canyon 2. Bull Elk at Grand Canyon. I got within 25 yards of him.
