Hi Is the tranny from a john deere 212 the same as a mf 12 variable speed?

Pretty sure they are both Peerless 2300 series.

Some of them have a different input pulley shaft. IE Splines instead of keyed, etc. Just means you need to study them pretty close.
I believe the internals are the same however.

A very few of the JD peerless trannys had limited slip, no clue which ones tho... sorry.

i have interchanged wheel hubs from deere to mf .
