I have been posting a wanted ad on craigslist for a FEL. The first few weeks it was fine. Then I looked at one loader (HERE) and then ever since every one of my wanted ads for a loader has been getting flagged! I don't see anything wrong with it, none of my other wanted ads have been flagged? What do you guys think? I don't see a problem with it!

Are you asking if there's a problem in your GTT post, or the ad? We have no link for your ads. I see nothing wrong with your post about the guy's stuff. All factual & to the point, nothing wrong at all.

No, I am talking about my CL ads getting flagged! I would post a link to it, but since it is flagged there is nothing that I can link to.

Ryan, a lot of people will flag someone else's post on craigslist if they are selling or looking for the same thing they are. That is one bad thing about craigslist.

George, I had not thought about that! But, now that you mention it I remember that somebody I know was having their ads flagged. He was posting ads for tree service and it was the competition who was flagging them.

Just keep posting them. When they take one down, put up another. Also pick other cities close to you, but don't do more than one city at a time and don't word it the same. One guy locally here will copy and paste parts of an ad and flag them... Say your phone number. Type it in different each time if you can

Another trick is to try to figure out what he is flagging on and get about 30 friends to post personal ads with that as a tag word in the description. It'll drive him nutty and eventually he will tire of the game.

Having never actually placed an ad on Craigslist, I don't know much about it, but isn't there someone you can contact...like a moderator or something?

I think all the modding is done by part time volunteers. You can send an email, but odds are you'll be married before you get a resolution.

There are CL forums. I did not really look at them, I think that reporting it would be more trouble then it is worth.

I will keep posting them! The problem is that it takes much longer to post an ad then it does to flag one. I may get tired before the flagger does.

I've heard of that kind of thing, Ryan. One of those problems with Craigslist. Like the others say just keep posting again after it gets flagged and try different cities.

Ryan, I was thinking about this...
You said ever since you looked at that loader, you ad has been getting flagged? Wasn't that guy some kind of whack-a-do or something? I wonder if that's who is flagging it, still hoping you'll buy his or even just out of spite?

Okay, spammer.

You sure you didn't tick someone off and now they flag all your ads? There is a button for that.

Likely not the issue but how was the ad worded? I tried to sell a dog crate once and the ad kept getting flagged for the word dog in a for sale ad. Guess you can't sell pets on there.
