This looks like a pretty cool Cub. If the sickle's in good shape thats worth the price of the machine.

Why are the gas tank brackets bolted to the front of the tractor.

Also it doesn't have a rear PTO, if he did he would have to remove the sleeve hitch from the because it hit the shaft. It looks like he has replaced the axle housing with later units.

Must be he was goingto mount the tank there because it wouldn't fit under the hood with the bigger engine.Then use a fuel pump. It does have a rear pto. You can just see it in the third pic. down.Your right though. I would think it would hit on the 3 point lift.
