The fire has slowed down here's a pic and some of bears in the yard. That time of year. The cub can't figure out how mama got through the fence.

How close is the fire to you? If I could look out my back yard and see the fire I would be getting nervous.

Did the cub get back with it's mama? Thanks for the pic's sure looks like beautiful country up there.

That is cool. And is neat to see that they're smart enough to find somewhere without much to burn.
Did they take your picnic baskets?

Very nice country up there. Thanks for the pics. Hopefully that fire doesn't spread too far.

Ya, the cub found the gate and he and mom headed off while I was trying to remember how to use the video on the camera. The fire does have me concerend, my fields go right about to the trees. It's looking east and for the most part has to burn aganist the wind and down hill, but if it gets much lower it will be in the thick trees and brush then it could go fast. It does need to be burned off from what they say and I would have to agree although I hate to see it. I wouldn't want to be the one who decideds how much to let it burn (it is trible wilderness area and for the most part nature is aloud to take her course).IMGP1830.JPG

Great photographs, thanks for sharing them. Very nice looking country. I hope the fire stays away from you and yours.

Seeing even a black bear in the yard would make me look out the window twice before I opened the door. Last thing you want to do is step out on the porch between mama and cub.

Hope the fire stops well before your field.
