I know this should technically be posted in the ebay/craigslist section of the site, but I think this one needs to be posted here for the Bolens guys to see.

Its just too far for me to bid. :( Why does all the good stuff always have to be so far away!!!

What's wrong with you ??? :confuse: ......It's not that far away! :p .....You could be there & back in 3 days. :bounce:

Are you really going to be much smarter spending those 3 days in school? :(

Is the price of gasoline holding you back? :mad2:

You know you want it !!! :smilewink:

Seriously, those tillers are not common, and I have never seen one around here.

According to the production list, it could be a 1957 Model 70, a 1958 Model 2071, or a 1959-61 Model 2072. .....All of these had the 3.6hp Kohler.

So how come Bolens 1000 gets to post stuff like this in the Bolens forum for all of us to see but MY posts get moved to the Craigslist/eBay section where nobody looks? lol...

But wait a second here... Isn't this the EXACT SAME TILLER that someone else posted about on the forums a while ago? I thought he already sold it or something? I know I have seen these pictures before on this site!! Especially since it is sitting in the back of the same pickup truck...

The seller put up some more pics. It looks like its a 1958.

Studying the pics it looks like a very interesting machine with the whole motor piveting on one side ( maybe for reverse ? ). Kinda different decal towards the top of the handle bars, never seen that one before.

You might check out the TRANSPORTATION forum.

Shucks, maybe a few of us could put together t a "relay' to get it to you.

I'd be willing to be one leg of it.

I sent the seller a message asking some questions about the tiller but have yet to hear back from him. If he dosent respond by this evening I will send another message.
I'm wondering if it may be worth it to just have him partially disassemble the tiller and ship it in a few loads or maybe ship it through U-Ship
