In 1957, a little 7 year old girl, Maria Ridulph, was abducted an killed near her home in Sycamore, Il. Her killer was never caught..... until last year. Last Friday, he was found guilty of his crime. This was a crime that made national headlines back in the day. These kinds of crimes were pretty rare back then.

Never give up hope!!!

I am glad they are able to prove someone guilty and find the criminal of crimes committed long ago, just a shame that the offenders don't get the full length sentence they deserved or that they still experienced that many more years of life that they shouldn't have if they get the death sentence.

I go to church with Maria's brother Chuck. It's been a roller coaster for the family and much emotional damage was done to the family and friends. Unfortunately, Maria's mother had passed a few years ago. As for the perp, he has eternity to consider what he has done.

I read that yesterday. I'm glad they finally can close that case. Bad part is the perp worked as an officer of the law out West.I hope the family can now find peace.
