That's a good one! I like it! "Homeland security port 12654" might be even more intimidating!

On the other side of the coin, naming it something near x-rated always gets you a few looks. Or in the case of the house three down, an interesting offer.

Bet someone tries to hack in just because they think they are hacking into the FBI. I think you put a target on your back Alan. Those script kiddies love a challenge.

On a side note,
I have had a lap top that I use in the work truck for about the last 5 years, and to this day I'm surprised
the amount of wifi that I can connect to in a neighborhood, both homes and businesses.

Most people haven't a clue on how to set up a network and just buy a router and then plug it in and let it rip. Little do they know they just left the door to the safe wide open.

:p Fine idea - maybe I call my "Stasi-Aussenstelle Niedervorschütz"

@ Bill: Only beginners will try to hack the wifi - professionals already have done... :laughingteeth:

I did that back in April, except I named it CSIS Surv....
CSIS is our Canadian equivalent.
I have only 2 neighbours close by. My daughters told me that the young lads across the
bay complained in facebook about the CSIS van, and the other neighbour, my brother, I
expected to start wearing a tinfoil hat.

Well now you have me wondering?? Near our church that message comes up on my daughters cell phone.
I thought it was for real, because I know of at least one drug traffiker in the area?

Nice one Alan  I think I will change the name of mine and see what my brother says when he comes up again. Should be good for a chuckle!

If you really want to weird him out, buy an old panel van and park it across the road from your driveway too. :)

Be sure to black out the windows on it! Maybe some kind of antenna off the top!
