This is a date, I remember every minute. I was with the car on the way to meet my younger son at school, when I heard the news in the radio - and I couldn't understand, what had happened.
At home, the whole family stood several hour watching TV...

Not a day that will be forgotten(or forgiven) by anyone alive on that day. Everyone can tell you where they were and what they were doing at that time. I was in the office working, and a TV was rolled to the front of the room and everyones eyes were glued to the TV with disbelief and rampant mixed emotions. Never forget!

Like so many others I was at work. Time seemed to stop as we all watched the events unfold on the television with disbelief. No one cared whether or not work was being done as we all stood together as Americans and gave and received support for the tangled mess of emotions that the tragedy had caused. I still feel those emotions when I think of that day and I will never forget! May God bless us as we remember!

I day that most of us will always remember where and what we were doing.

Friend called me that morning and told me something was up, as he lived close to Otis Air Base and saw
the fighter jets take off, but faster and a different route than they always took for patrols. Sadly he was right.

Heard the first reports on the way to work, turned a TV on as soon as I got there & we all joined together silently watching and crying. Several customers came in to join us. Disbelief, anger, sadness, sorrow.
Uncertainty for my children's future was in my mind as well.
I don't think the memory will ever fade for me.

My office is in my home, I was talking on the phone with the tv in the background......saw the building smoking and the second plane hit.....my good friend and customer on the phone heard me describe in confusion what I was seeing....this friend has since past on to a better place.....I will never forget that day.

After 9-11, I understood better my older friends who never could accept the Japanese. One customer in particular fought in that war.....he would not have anything to do with Japan or its products.

God bless these United States and all it stands for!

Can't forget that day! I was vacationing in PEI. We were celebrating my dad's 65th birthday that week. I remember seeing what had happened and going up to the hotel restaurant where everyone was in shock. A couple arrived and asked what was going on. It turned out they were from N.Y. and the man worked in one of the buildings near the towers. He had friends who worked there and was devastated by the news. We decided to cut our vacation short and headed home later that day. The atmosphere was distinctly sombre and serious everywhere you went. It was the start of a conflict that still continues and has taken many lives!
