I'll agree with the cool days and crisp nights, but the thought of snow just makes me cringe.

I say, bring on the snow! That's just the teacher in me hoping for a snow day. Actually the snow can wait until I go through my blower and get it loosened up. That and I guess my driveway is just a little shorter than yours Nate so it's generally just big enough to be fun before it becomes work.

I'm hoping for a winter like we had last year. I spent a total of about 45min moving snow last year.( and loved it) The old plow truck gets thursty after moving snow and gets costly to fillup on almost $4 gas. But it is fun sitting on the 1050 'til my fingers get numb.

We had just enough snow last year to say we had snow, maybe 1/4".

I'm enjoying the cooler morning temps. We're more apt to get ice storms than snow down here!

I too like the cooler temps.I am not a fan of these really hot humid days we've been having lately.

You should be teaching in Virginia. It only takes an inch of snow to shut the schools down.

This weather is GRRREAT !! not that I mind heat... but the humidity -yuck! I'm looking forward to snow this year since it seemed like we fixed the snowblower last season. i'm retired, but for some reason there's one school that uses the end of our driveway as a bus stop. No sidewalk, so the teens wait in our driveway. I try to get out there and clear it before any of them show up. Driveay goes into a " Y " around the electric llines pole at the end. One year I wondered how those kids got that far in school. I'm heading toward them blowing snow and they just stood there. I actually had to stop and shut the lawn tractor off and yell at them to move !

:dancingbanana: 53F here this morning, and I'm LOVING it! Work is so much easier, plus a lot more gets accomplished. I got as much done yesterday as in 2 or more days of the hot/humid times. Yes, just as tired at night, but worth it when you get the work done, especially without feeling like the walking dead while doing it.
Trimming cow's hooves today. I'll take some pics if I don't forget.
