I have a cub original that has a lot of side to side play in the front axel. Im not sure if the pin is worn or the actual axel is worn. Is there a fix for this? Maybe some sort of sleeve or shims? thanks.

The axle pin could be worn, this is common if it is not greased and I am not sure if an original has a fitting or not. New pins are probably still available if needed. Hopefully your axle is not worn. I am not sure about bushings for the axle, but a maintenance machine shop could bore it and bush it for you.

It is most likely the pin.It it is the axle,it can be fixed in a couple of ways. You could bore it and put in a bushing,or weld up the hole and redrill to proper size.
