Im putting back together a Cub Original that I got in a box of disassembled parts. The throttle cable is completely
rusted and I havent been able to get it to move at all.

The Cub Cadet dealer says that a replacement part is not available.

Does anyone know of a fix for the cable that I have or where I could find a working replacement? Thanks.

I would try soaking it in your favorite penetrating fluid.I kind of like the acetone and ATF mix myself.

Most any mower shop will have throttle/choke cable on a huge roll and can cut it to whatever length you need. Just install the new cable on your throttle lever and you should be good to go.
