This time of year just before winter it seems as though progress speeds up in the Horse Barn.

First off we are about to finish up a restore on our 701.

While we are doing that I am anxiously awaiting the return of my son's 500 Special from the powder coater. It should be back anytime now.

Once I go to pick up the 500 Special I will drop off another Lawn Ranger to be done in a custom color for my wife. Hopefully I can get most of my son's back together before the Lawn Ranger is done.

Needless to say there is always a project going on.

I am going to add some pictures.......
1. 701
2. 500 Special before tear down
3. Lawn Ranger for my wife.
4. 701 as it sits today

Once I have all of these done then each person in the family will have their very own restored tractor! :)

Looking good there! That will be an awesome herd when you get them all done! Good luck with keeping the parts seperated!

Thanks everyone! Well there isn't many parts left on the 701 so we should be good there. Received a call today that the 500 Special finally was sandblasted, so that means powder coat this afternoon or tomorrow. :) I still have the Lawn Ranger in the barn, need to finish tearing it apart and get it ready to haul over.

And yes........this is all right in the middle of me getting ready for the meet and greet. What was I thinking???? Haha!

Not sure if we are coming or not. Haven't made a final decision. If we do we have all three of the 1961 models, so it would be kind of fun if we did.
