Colors On David Bradley Hood

Do the colors on the hood of the david bradley raised lettering mean anything . I've seen green,black,red yellow cream, brown, or is it just your own choice. Paul.

I dont know if it is "correct" or not , but I painted the raised letters with the same color as the wheels.

most red tractors have green letters, some had yellow ones. bronze tractors had white letters. Some guys just repaint the whole hood one color. There was a guy selling vinyl letters in green or white on ebay a while back. I didnt get any but they looked pretty sharp.

I bought the yellow ones for my 560, they look sharp on the tractor.

I tried to buy some of those off ebay, but alot of those parts they say are not availaible to canada........That;s the way she goes :mecry:

How about getting someone close on this side of the border to forward on to you. Might be a bit more postage, but should work.

If you have a graphics shop nearby they may be able to make some stickers. Another alternative could be a paint pen from an office supply store. I tried a yellow one I have on my yet to painted hood and it didn't look half bad. With the raised letters they're fairly easy to trace. Again, I'm not shooting for show quality. I just want to make it look a little better.
