Just want to show how the db is progressing. There was alot of pitting on this so the not so pitted parts i have been trying to primer fill with pro form and sand down over and over. Now the wheels, they were really bad so i had a buddy sandblast and prime them.I am painting it with international red and the wheels are john deere green[rattle can] anyway i'm happy with it.[attachment=42802:066.JPG][attachment=42803:064.JPG][attachment=42804:065.JPG][attachment=42805:067.JPG][attachment=42806:069.JPG][attachment=42807:056.JPG][attachment=42808:057.JPG] Now, could someone tell me if the 560 and the 561 are the same tractor. And what my 2 engines are , like the year and hp etc. here are some numbers i think are right. One is 102032 167858 and the other is 108022 319926 Thanks[attachment=42809:054.JPG][attachment=42810:055.JPG][attachment=42811:058.JPG] I also have to find some tires and tubes......Any suggestions on what kind of tire and where?

The 560 had a Briggs Model 8 either 2 1/4 hp or 2 1/2 hp, mine has the 2 1/4 hp. The 561 had the Contintal AU8 2 1/2 hp. Other than that thy should be the same. Only the fuel tanks and throttle control were different because of the motor.

The round top is the early 8 and the square top is the later 8. Also your throttle cable is routed wrong, it should come out under the motor mount for the Briggs, the way you have it routed is for the Continal motor. My 560 has the same slot as yours.

Check out tuckertire on ebay. $151 for the pair plus shipping. I got my quickly and am very satisfied.

Your progress on your tractor looks great! I'm at about the same stage on my 5756. I don't have an original motor though.
Hopefully I can post some progress pix soon.

Looking great! It always amazes me how those machines worked so well with only a couple of HP but now the new stuff has much larger engines but the rest of the machine is puny compared to those old DB's.
