Thats what I kinda thought. Most guys in europe run those tdi motors or renaults but I guess its all preference :thumbs:


Nope not preferance "cheap" is more like it. Were working on another one for next year thats Cat powered. Looking for a 720/620 Allis Chalmers for the tin work if anyone knows of one.

how do u get power out of the diesel just built a cub with 3 cyl diesel turned pump up bigger injectors nothing like yours

Welcome to Garden tractor talk! They run a 4 cylinder engine if you would have read the previous comments. So there's alot more power there than we have in our 3 cyl lol :bigrofl:

Basically all diesel's make power the same way. Fuel, air and compression The more fuel and air you get into compress the more power you make. Ours has a larger turbo, injectors, pump and head work.
Originally the engine was 45hp after Houston Diesel did the injectors and pump 200 plus hp, Not bad each cylinder is putting out more than the total of the original non turboed engine !

been looking for turbo we had one off from a 650 yamaha blew seals out they cant rebuild

One of the 3 cylinders, I'm thinking he has a Kubota, uses the turbo from a 1,6
