The seat is a bit too high though. I talked to the upholstery gal today. Gonna have the original seat
recovered. Nothing fancy, just funtional.

Will, she'll love it no matter what seat is on it. What makes the seat uncomfortable to use?

You sit about 2" higher than the stock seat, and that puts the controls out of comfortable reach.

That's perfect Keith. Thanks. I had thought of lengthening that lift lever, but was thinking it would then hit the dash, so
I just stopped thinking, and blamed the seat.
I always look over my right shoulder, and steer with left hand. This will work great.

I extended both of mine using a long nut and a piece of all thread to screw the knob back on.

Me too! I saw a thread some time back that had a link to gas cap makers similar to these types, but don't remember where it is.
