I need help in mounting 730 blade to MF7. I am missing a pair of hanging straps, #16 in dozer manual part # 1 037 287 M1. They go from front bracket back to pivot tube. I want to make some if someone can give me the measurements. How long? Location and size of holes? I have the pair of compression straps but am missing the other set. I would appreciate any help you can give me.

Welcome to the forum. I have an MF8 but don't have the blade for it. I think they are just a straight piece of stock, if memory serves, so they should be easy to make once you get the measurements.

I measured mine. It's a plain piece of flat bar. 16 1/2" long - 1 1/4" wide - 3/16" thick. the bigger hole is 3/4" (actually 25/32") and the the center of the hole is 3/4" from the end of bar. The small hole is 9/16" and the center is also 3/4" from the end of bar. About 14 15/16" from center to center of holes. I don't know if it matters but the 3/4" hole is 3/16" from one side and 1/4" from the other side.

Thank you for the measurements and picture, thats exactly what I need. I plan to make a pair of these and get the blade hooked up. I want to be ready because I live in Iowa and I know we will have snow to plow this winter.
