Daniel I am figuring it was repowered since it had a tra-10d in it. Battery was under the seat. Color was wrong, but it was in very good shape. Mew tires, paint, etc Any chance the 10 was an original ?ImageUploadedByTapatalk1346543919.985118.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1346543944.490914.jpg an original?ImageUploadedByTapatalk1346543987.554005.jpg

Scott, your price list you uploaded to our files does show a V4-10, so it may well be OE. The V4-8 I have coming my way was badged as a VE4-7, but when I spoke to Bush Hog reps, they said they would use whatever engines easily available, but use the already made tags, showing a different HP than what they painted on the hoods. So my "ID Plated" VE4-7 is indeed actually a VE4-8 as the original paint on it's hood shows. So I bet this IS an actual VE4-10! Even if the ID plate says VE4-7. Battery under the seat is correct as well.

I did check the ID plate just in case it was badged that as the 10 (which old have been a cool find if it had been)... But I thought I remembered yours was tagged as a 7 but the 8 was original. Good deal..... I am sure the owner would be pleased if it was!

You're talking about the one that Doug dug up?
So, it's a one off?

Not a "one-off", but not so common, as it's the only one I've seen to date. They actually list a V4-8 like it in their price list circa January 15th, 1971.

Howard I was at the show in Silk Hope today. Saw the bush hog there. He had several really nice GT's besides this bush hog.

Ok, I thought that was probably it. I would like to go, can't see taking the time---nor dragging the family!
