This is what is left of a 421U1113 deck. The spindle hole is ~3.125" diameter. Bolt holes are ~3.625" C to C.Image001.jpg Image002.jpg
If that part will work, I'll cut it out and send it your way. I will take several measurements so you can get it back real close to where it should be.

I'm thinking the spindles were the same for the 42" and 48" decks. So the holes should be the same.

Based off of my rough measurements, that should work. Sorry I haven't had a chance to get down to the shop and get the proper tools to get the broken one out. It is on today's to do list, but may be later tonight. Thanks again Kenny!

Some difference in center pulleys, but mounting bases are the same.

PM me the address. I'll cut it out tomorrow and get in the mail. I will cut it large so it will be easier for you to get to good metal.

Just out of curiosity, have you taken it apart? If I can see the affected area, I can be sure to get it cut big enough, but not so large you have a challenge fitting it. I will cut it out with a 4.5" angle grinder, so the sides of the cut will be pretty straight and square. I may have to go to the PO and get a box so I know how big I can go on the piece.

Not yet... We moved and I cant find anything. I will go back out and look for all of my big wrenches one more time and if not I will head to the hardware store. Sorry, with all of the bolts pulled out it makes it more fun!

I can understand that! Even a pic with it still together (from the top) would help me.

Kenny,

Here are some pics. The first one is the one of the left side. This keeps getting worse... When I was looking around under there, I noticed a crack running around, on the right side. I have attached pictures of that side also. Im not sure if there is a way to fix that side. I outlined the cracked area. I dont want you to spend the time to cut out the left if the right is going to do the same thing.

Ouch! well I got the deck up to look it over and it has a patch under the left side.

Here is the top of the left side:

Here is the right side:

If you can make some outlines of what you need, I can cut there. The deck is too heavy to send the whole thing. Plus this is a smaller deck.

Will do. Do you think it would make the most since to cut the whole patch out of the left side? Give me a little bit. My girls are almost done eating and I'm going to put them down for a nap and I will make some templets.

We'll see! I was fixing to cut the right and send it for the left. I may have to cut both and fix the holes in the left side for you. One thing I will need is the dimension from where the metal curves up in front of the spindle holes. That will let me know how far that way i need to cut.

YES SIR! I printed out your pics and tried to recreate what you took. But first, I got the cup brush out to check for cracks.
