I turned 16 a few weeks ago and I finally went and got my permit today! On the 20 question test I got one wrong. After that, my I was dropped off at a job to meet up with Harry. He didn't know I went to get it, when he found out he told me to take the paper out of the car so I could drive with him. He let me drive home and everything was fine, I did get in trouble for speeding though. Harry has blue lights on his truck and fire depatment plates, plus he knows all of the cops and they are firlimiar with his truck, so it's not like I would get pulled over anyway. LOL! Driving his big lifted truck with play in the steering was not bad.

Ryan, congratz. My experience tells me to tell you to not drive like the backside of a donkey and leave yourself outs when driving. Never know when you will have to change the intended path to safe some idiots life. careful.

Congrats on the permit Ryan! That's great news. I'll pass along the advice that my late Uncle Frank passed on to me when I got mine back in the stone age: "Keep the shiny side up and the dirty side down and you'll be fine". He was a truck driver all of his life and had a clean record till the end!

Congrats, Ryan! Good advice above! Only thing I can add is be aware of the traffic around you. Not only in front, but to the sides and behind.
