Will, the rain brought me an unexpected project so:

Roofing in the rain-a favorite activity of mine

Had to happen in the only part of my shop roof that's NOT steel :spanka:

Yeah, good luck. On first look, I thought that was a human amputated leg.

That sounds pretty interesting. I hope you take lots of pictures.

I may mess this whole trip up, though. I've been bugging the wife to let me take our cat to offer up as a wolf snack. She doesn't think that's as good of an idea as I do.

That's unfortunate. At least it's easy enough to get at from the bottom.
Look on the bright side.

That it is, Will. But I think it's the top side that seals it off. Get some of that spray stuff they show on TV, Lee. Might work until the weather is better for a repair. Course, it'll take longer than that for it to arrive!

Ouch! That doesn't look like much fun at all! Glad it doesn't have too much rise. How much more to change it to metal?

Thats covering about 700 sq ft, I think and just a year old, so I don't know $ exactly. The ironic thing was I spent 2
full days making sure all drains were clean and this rain didn't flood the shop. Then it comes in the ROOF :bigrofl: :bigrofl:

I'll probably stay around home. There is a small town show Saturday about 30 miles north of here, if it's not raining, I may take some up there! ~~ Lowell

Just push that bucked spot up & toenail a piece of 2x4 across under it using screws, Then slap some "black jack" (roofing tar) over the bad place in the roof. It'll hold till you can do it right.

That's what I did Daniel and slid a piece of steel under the upper course of good shingles-That'll hold for now and I'll enjoy the weekend after all.

Johnny has been asking for a longer driveway to plow and larger lawn to cut so we'll be looking at a couple this weekend...
