Just be optimistic that she is young and has that to heal her.
And it sure will cross my mind on Sunday, too. That never hurts.

Thanks everyone for your kind words and prayers. Surgery Thursday morning and the doc. is optimistic that all will be fine. Gotta hit the sack & get a couple winks so I can drive down to Houston early. Will post on her condition as son as I can. Thanks again.

She is in my prayers. May the surgery be a success and may she have a full recovery! It is amazing what the doctors can do these days.

First let me thank you all for the kind words and prayers. The surgery went well yesterday. The doctor said they did a nerve response test before the surgery and it showed quite a bit of decreased nerve action in both legs. They uncompressed her spind and removed all the broken chips and put in some rods and screws to support her spine. Then he did another nerve response test and noted marked improvement in both legs. She should be going home Monday and should be good as new in 3 months. She asked me to thank everyone for their prayers.

I logged 390 miles yesterday running down to Houston for the surgery and back. The hospital is right smack in the middle of the medical complex downtown. Thank goodness I don't have to drive in that traffic every day. Thank all of you for your kind words and prayers.
