Had a great time Sat am, went to a small show in Ely, Vt. really, don't blink you will miss the town......
Weather was perfect, went with a friend for some great company. Remembered the camera and left what little $$ I had at home. :smilewink:
Got a chance to see some folks and their " stuff' that I hadn't seen before.

For a small show it had a good mix of flywheel engines, air cooled engines and garden tractors with some full sized tractors in the front of the show field. Here are some shots of some of the bigger pieces.

Lisbpn and Ely 006.JPG
Steam engine, he had it belted to a cord wood saw.

Lisbpn and Ely 007.JPG
Bob Gaffney's "machine shop" all run by belts from a line shaft with a 1 1/2 hp Saxon hit & miss for power.

Lisbpn and Ely 015.JPG
Meet Bessie, a 40hp Bessemer engine, air start. runs on propane and shakes the ground when it fires. An impressive engine.

Lisbpn and Ely 023.JPG
Abenaque 5hp sideshaft engine, original cooling tanks, nice pretty original engine, manufactured just about 65 miles down the road from where the show was held.

All in all a great way to spend a Saturday morning, i came home with a brass tagged kick start Briggs N, missing the gas tank, gee i've got one of those in the spare parts bin!! and some great pictures.
