Posted August 28, 2012 - 08:16 PM
Weather was perfect, went with a friend for some great company. Remembered the camera and left what little $$ I had at home.
Got a chance to see some folks and their " stuff' that I hadn't seen before.
Two nice Beaver tractors
Nice little Springfield, as found
I'm thinking a National?? and a Bolens with sulkey
DB with what I think is an air compressor

Steam engine, he had it belted to a cord wood saw.
Bob Gaffney's "machine shop" all run by belts from a line shaft with a 1 1/2 hp Saxon hit & miss for power.
Meet Bessie, a 40hp Bessemer engine, air start. runs on propane and shakes the ground when it fires. An impressive engine.
Abenaque 5hp sideshaft engine, original cooling tanks, nice pretty original engine, manufactured just about 65 miles down the road from where the show was held.
All in all a great way to spend a Saturday morning, i came home with a brass tagged kick start Briggs N, missing the gas tank, gee i've got one of those in the spare parts bin!! and some great pictures.
