I have a chance to buy a Ford 1100... it has the tractor, along with a snowblower, rear blade, mower, and tiller. Price seems to be reasonable at $3,000 though the owner isn't sure how many hours on it, etc.

Any opinions on these tractors??? It's an ideal size for what I want to do, and has a 0.7 liter 2 cylinder diesel in it and mechanical 4WD.

Are parts hard to find... I suspect they're expensive... are they reliable?

I used to use one of those a few years ago, where I used to work. They're a good tractor. If I remember correctly,it was very reliable.I don't think we ever had to do much of anything to it. I can't remember right off what make of engine it was.

Been reading up on the compacts and consIder the Fords to be a good choice.
They were bAOught out by New Holland so parts should not be a problem.
Dont let the size fool you. While it is a little guy, it will be about 500 lbs heavier than a GT.
ithe the 3point and traction lock the little guy will do a lot of work.
In case your wondering Im looking for a compact for my 9 acres.
Let me correct myself. Ivthink that would be closer to 200 lbs heavier than a GT and wit the attachments would be a very good price. Look it over good to check condition.
pHour meters often don't work on these old machines, so I don't consider them a reliable indication of condition.
The implements in that package is iexactly what I'm looking for.
As I recall that is built by SHibara
Please overlook the spelling errors,im trying to get used to the ipad and not used to the keypad yet.
