i'm looking at buying an old bolens walk behind tractor with a sickle bar mower. the guy doesn't know the model or the year. could some one please help me identify this?

First off, Welcome to GTT! :wave:
Its hard to tell by the picture but it looks to be an early Power Ho Model.

Any chance of getting a model# or some more pictures of the tractor?

Can,t help you at this time. though my dad gave one very much like that this week.
Have been busy moving a shed and have not brought it home yet.

i'm a member at my tractor forum (79ht-23) and was told to come here. i had an account here but couldn't remember the username and password so i made another one..thanks for the welcome though. i found an older posting here that it might be mid to late 40's model. will these sickle mower interchange with a newer model power ho?
