Hi everyone.... New to the forum.i have a craftsman 18 hp tractor with the hyro trans in it. Was wondering if anyone knows how to drain the oil out of it???? I see the fill tube, Thanks

Welcome to the forum! It would be helpful if you could show us a picture of the tractor or give the complete Sears model no. for the tractor. Some of them are a sealed transmission and are not designed to have the fluid changed. The tube you are seeing could just be a vent.

thanks guys. the model is 917.256711 i think your right about the tube being a vent. if that is the case is the trans garbage? Will take photos of the tractor and trans friday. thanks Rick,
