Anybody know if Dandy Sales is still open, or if so what their hours are... I've e-mailed and called them, no ansewr on the phone and no reply to the e-mail !!! They're less than an hour from me but hate to waste a trip to get there for nothing !!! Thanks, Lenny

Always responded pretty quick for me, maybe they are on vacation? Sure hope they are still around they have been great to deal with on panzer stuff.

Yes, I agree that Dandy is not a typical 8x5 workweek kind of outfit. Not sure, but I'd guess it's not their only jobs, either.

Thanks everyone, I'll keep trying, In desperate need for a shaft for my mower deck,, if I can't get one soon I'll have my buddy machine one... just hate for him to stop his other projects when i know there is one local...

I just received an e-mail from Jim last week on the 13th. He sent me some prices on
parts that I did order last Saturday. Last time I talked to him on the phone
he told me the best time to call was between around 4:30 pm to around 8:30 pm.
He also told me that they do go to tractor/farm type shows during
the summer months. He also said his replys to e-mails are slow.

I know what you mean about being hard to reach. I've called multiple times (usually in the evenings as I know he has a regular job) over the last several months and never got an answer. Not even voice mail. It would be nice if you could at least leave a message and he could call you back.

I believe Jim and his wife may be busy with non-tractor related stuff recently as he told someone from last weekend's Dover show when contacted about whether he was returning this year.

Yep, figured with the nice weather I would be at a show to,,,, you're right, would be nice if the answering machine was on, or a post somewheres.... Anyways, the shaft is at the machine shop now, had to go that route, there are some other trinquets i need that i can do without for now, just have to wait for someone to answer the phone there, hate asking my buddy to do stuff, he doesn't mind but hes in the business of doing projects woorth tens of thousands of dollars, not doing favors for me, but he takes beer as payment !!!

When I spoke to Jim last, he said if you FAX the information you need to the shop, it is a "Hard copy" for him to look up and he will call you back in a jiffy. He is an extrmely nice guy!
