Hey guys.

This is my uncle's tractor. I can vouch that his stuff is top-notch though this never got restored. His boy decided that he was interested in,,, in.... wheel horses of all things.

They got the 8 horse Kohler all in order today and posted on Craigslist. Talked with him (they thought I may want it) and the mower all checks out but is missing a belt. The snow blade looks to be not original but in good working order.

Will offer to hold for a reputable gttalk member, too. So that means half of you are out. :p

So that's the 8 horse Kohler... Electric start. Paint looks to be original and the sticker isn't perfect, but still there. Mower deck and snow blade... $600.

Seems like a nice machine. I've wanted one of those since I got addicted.
Is that a Sears plow?

Yes, I put it out on the Yahoo Panzer group, too. That's just like an e-mail swap meet anyway, so it was a perfect place for it. I'll hold it for anyone for a reasonable amount of time. Was just kidding.

I wonder what it would cost to ship it up here...... Too much is my guess. That's a nice original tractor for someone!

I've heard of people using uship.com successfully. 15663 would be the originating zip code.

Wow.... I know I'm a bit of a Bolens guy myself, but that does look like a nice tractor! Wish I had $600 for it! If anyone wants to buy it and needs help delivering it, I'd be happy to help! I'm in Albany, NY but PA isn't all THAT much of a drive for me, if "The Price I$ Right"! All I want to enough to pay for my gas and stuff... being able to help out some fellow members and check out some more old GT's is enough satisfaction for me to make up for any further compensation. Plus, I don't want to have anyone feel like they are being taken advantage of or anything!

PM me if anyone is interested in having any GT's delivered to their house...

Yeah, I think he's willing to work it out on delivery options and time for anyone who's definitely going to buy. Of course, it's first come first served, but that's not to say that whoever is first gotta be there right this minute.

That is a nice little panzer! Was the front decal on the grill a later change or just something your uncle did?

The front decal was something that came from the company. The grill castings on panzers is the subject of some discussion b/c it was changed several times. They did very little to this since buying it other than to make sure it was running right. His son merely decided he wanted to take interest in another brand instead.

I'm not really too familiar with these Panzers. Is that the original seat pan?
I've seen pictures of some, with a dish seat.

Yes, I think the highback seat is original. I see others on google images with the same seat option. Looks like pan was available, too. Wouldn't be too hard to switch.
