Does the mower deck have an idle pulley on a spring tensioner? If it does, did you pull it back some when you measured? If not, they can throw your measurement off quite a bit.

I'd be checking it for length. I couldn't get that from NH online. If the one from NAPA is the right length, I'd buy it.

Dont know about the length, but the NAPA I work at has 2 lines of belts....There is the cheaper and more expensive line...The quality goes along with the price.....I put one of the cheaper ones on my STX38 and it only lasted a couple of months...the better one is lasting mucch longer so far......just saying

A std 5/8" belt measures .625" and the OE belt measures .660". Also sometimes tractor companies make their belts a different fron std angle so you need to get the belts from them, as std angles will wear out on some pulleys. Not sure in this case.

Russ can I get a picture of this spring/pulley assembly? My spring is gone, not exactly sure what it is suppost to look like. I just adjusted my new belt until I felt is was "right." I will measure my belt tomorrow to get you a length, thanks.

Russ, are you wanting the mower blade belt or the belt from the PTO to mower? The # Daniel gave is for the blades (#32) on the deck, but your pic shows it on there. The PTO-to-mower belt is # 251396 (#22). I can't find it in the NAPA cross.

Okay, then Daniels info is what you need. I thought it was the drive belt. If you can, take it along and have them measure it so we have that info on file here.
