Hi all,

I'm a new member who has recently been bitten by the garden tractor bug. After looking on craigslist for quite a while, I purchased a 1972 110 a couple of weeks ago. It's in pretty nice shape, with just a couple of small cracks in the hood. I bought it with no spark and have spent the last couple of weeks working on it a little at a time. My 4 year old boy loves to come and help daddy out on the "gardening tractor." Well I finally got it running although there is still some carb work to be done, and naturally started thinking about getting some accessories. Mainly I wanted a front blade to move snow this winter. I looked high and low and ended up finding one however it was attached to a 1971 112 (K241 kohler) at least that's how I told it to my wife :-). I think I got a really good deal on this one. I was planning on spending $100 on the blade, and I got the whole tractor including the blade (no deck however) for the $100. The hood and front bezel on this one are pretty rough, but it looks pretty decent otherwise. So now less than a month in, I have 2 GT's to have fun working on. I have the feeling that after I get these up and going, it will continue but to maintain marital bliss, I need to hold off until I get these finished.

I enjoy reading the posts and the featured tractors.

Jeff

Welcome to GTT.

Yep, sure sounds like you're hooked.

You might try telling the Mrs. that your 4 year old wanted his own, when you pull in the driveway next
week with your latest catch.

Welcome Jeff,

Fellow Nebraskan here and it is great to see another on the site. Sounds like you have two good finds. If you need parts for either tractor and are close to Omaha I can help. I know where there is a late 112 with parts ready for picking.

My wife finally figured out that tractors were cheaper than trucks. Last one I took her with me to look at she claimed as her own she keeps asking me when we are going to restore it. W

Welcome to the site and good luck sneaking more tractors in.
