Rebuilding MF 1655 54" mower deck...... napa bearing numbers??

Need to rebuild my deck to finish out the mowing season.......does anyone have the part numbers for both bearings and seals that go inside the spindles on the deck......sure it will be cheaper going to napa then buying oem parts! Also wher do you guys drill and tap a hole for grease zerk.......pics?? Thanks Luke

You can use a 6205 bearing on the top. These things are METRIC. I would use a single seal and allow grease to enter the bearing from the inside.
The lower bearing is a needle bearing but I can not lay my hands on the #s. If the Bearing supplier has a longer needle bearing than you have I would take it.
there is plenty of room for a wider bearing in the bottom.

Let me find the #s for that needle and I will get back.

If you drill and tap between the 2 bearings that will get the grease where you need it.

I don't have the needle bearing number, except for the Massey part # which is 3021745M1. Jack's Small Engines has them for $11/25 each, and the MF # says comes with seal.

Hey Luke just saw this post.Upper Arbor brg.= NTN 6205 Lower arbor brg= INA HK2516 [needle brg.] Lower seal metric# 25x32x4 as mentioned above grease fitting between brg's.In order for the upper brg to get greased remove the dust shield from the side that faces downwards.Larry

hey luke.if its the lower seal in the arbor I use a Fedral Mogul seal part number [metric] 25x32x4 any seal manufacture will work so long as you give them the metric size Larry
