Couple of things I forgot:

The engine runs like a dream. Not even a puff of smoke on start up, and it runs nice and cool.

I thought it was pretty quiet. Then I fired up the JD 185 today. Man, what a difference. The 185's Kawasaki is like going to a rock concert compared to the Kubota.

The 185 is sold, an inspector at work bought it today to use as a tight area/under pine tree mower. He has a large Hustler ZTR that he doesn't want to scratch up, so the JD is gone. I'm waiting on parts for my Husqvarna ZTR, and when that is back up and running it will get sold also.

Best of luck with the new rig! Hope the issues go away with the fluid/filter change.

The flail mower would get re-sold.

And it did, finally. Hooked it up to let the prospective buyer see it run and cut. It cuts grass as well as any rotary deck. Good thing I didn't try it out earlier, I would of wanted to keep it.

Whole unit is leaving. The ruined hydro and the deck being too big just makes it too big of a headache. Should be leaving here in 30 minutes.

Sold and gone. On the lookout for a new project. The buyer is going to make a mini MFWD tractor out of a Cub with the motor. Some may remember his last project, a Cub 1450 stretched with a Kubota diesel a d painted red. It was CL about a year ago.
