so i just bought a 14.5hp yard machine with a 42in deck today from my neighbor for $50 it runs moves and mowes. i asked him jokingly if he wanted to get rid of it and he said sure hed rather push mow. so i offered him $50 and now its mine!!!!

ill have pics soon. i have self propeled toro that i got for free but a rider will be nice until i can find a deck for my 126 cub or find another cub

i just got it out back tonite i put the battery on the charger for the night. i have to adjust the sterring an change a tire

That's similar to my yard mower, except mine was free. Good luck with it.
Does it have the Briggs OHV in it?

It's definitely worth the $50 and then some. Add a cupholder and just mow to your heart's content.

im getting ready to go inquire about a cub i found hoping i can save it from rusting away or the crusher

One thing that helped mine a lot was to adjust the valves. I would do that soon. I also installed a fuel shut off inline. It would flood the crankcase with fuel when sitting. Cleaned the bowl on the carb while I was at it. Lot's of nasties in there. I got some 30W synthetic oil from O'Reilly's, sure made that engine run a lot quieter. My engine is the 287707 model.

getting the cub may take some time i now know who the owner of the proprty is he lives with his dad he cant go anywhere near the property. the info is from the owner of the adjaycent trailer park
