Grandson and I went whitewater rafting on the Ocoee river in Tennessee. I aways wanted to go and finally made the trip. We had a great time.

Your rafting pic is great.. looks like a blast..

maybe go west to see Grand canyon next


The Grand Canyon is worth the trip.. I would like to take the heli trip from vegas to see the Grand Canyon form the sky...

Gives you more oppritunity to do things. Pick things that are not in the same area.. this way you have a chance when you travel no matter where ya go..

Not sure what river, but certainly not a fast one....my son went to TN to canoe down a river with his girlfriend's family today. Somewhere around Franklin.

That looks like fun!
We have done some slow, shallow water canoeing, but no fast water stuff.

Seems like everyone around ther canoes the Harpeth... my wife is from Nashville and we lived in Portland TN for a while.

JMS, that is a great time and I'm glad you enjoyed your self. My inlaws, wife and I have gone down the upper and middle Ocoee for 6 of the last 7 years. one of those "once a year" trips. We use the same company (ocoee-outdoors.com) and the same guide (Bill) ever year. It's such a great time.
