Grand, I'm happy to hear that nothing major was involved. Hope they get things figured out for you soon.

It's great to hear from you that you're doing OK George (Sr.) We'd be happy to have you around for another 50 or 60 years! Glad that the test results came back good. Thanks for the update!

I didn't want to add all of the details in my first post but about the only thing not quite right was the test from my pancreas. I'm not sure what kind of units it is measured in but the doctor said normal was 60 and mine was 83. He also said real problems usually don't happen till it gets above 140, and he sees many patients at 200 or more. The other thing was a possible change in my blood pressure medicine. I had already scheduled an appointment with my family doctor this Thursday over two weeks ago for that very reason. So we will see what happens. I just know that after having that much pain in my chest for over 24 hours it was time to seek professional help.
Once again, THANK YOU for the many prayers and thoughts from my GTTalk family.
George

Great to hear that you are in good health George. Glad it wasn't too serious, and hopefully nothing ever will be.

Grand, so good to hear you're much better! Hoping just a change in blood pressure meds is needed. That stuff can play havoc all over one's body! I know my Dad has had to change his BP medication at least 2 or 3 times due to it reacting badly with him.

It's Great to have you back Grand, Welcome home! You take it easy for the next couple of weeks, and don't go pushing yourself too hard. I'm praying that all the test results turn out negitive, but I also hope you find out what happened so that you can put your mind at ease. I bet it didn't have nothing to do with that greasy hamberger that I saw you eating just before you left for the hospital. LOL!

Take Care my Friend!

Troy I wish that it had been the burger, but the pain started 24 hours before that. I mowed some grass today and was told by my wife and George to knock it off and take it easy. Just glad to be able to be doing something.

Knock it off Grand! :smilewink: Even if you are fine physically to do some chores, you gotta remember the stress it puts on those who love ya to worry about you working right now. Yeah I know, us old guys are pretty stubborn, and we hate to be idle, but do take it easy my friend! I'm getting tractors & plows ready for you guys at my plow day, so you gotta get all healed up for that!

Where else will you find a site that prays for you one minute, then chews you out the next? :laughingteeth:

Hear That Grand?
You have to behave yourself if you want to go out and play later...

Glad you feel good enough to get out, but please don't push it.
