I have a total of 5 Ford LGT's and I am pretty sure all of mine have the black steering wheel...Does anyone know what is the deal with the white ones? In viewing youtube I see several with a white steering wheel and wasn't sure if they were year specific or there was some else going on...

I have (1) LGT 145 and the steering wheel is black, Same with all the other (7-8) riders I have had. I am guessing someone wanted a white wheel and painted it that way.

Ah nope! My 1972 LGT 125 has one. I think they changed to black sometime around '74. About the same time they switched from the rotary choke knob to the pull style .

Larry I am not so sure, do some diggin and you'll see, the white ones have 2 spokes our black ones have 3...I am not a fan of them but there are quite a few instances of them on the net...

A white wheel would be a lot cooler on hot days!

Never really noticed white wheels before.

Here's one that was forsale, not much left of tractor, but maybe some good parts for someone.

Sorry didn't mean to infer anything at all about wheels...All the ones I'd seen at this point had been black 3 spoke or white 2 spoke. I am sure yours is original but of all the conversations I've not heard of any discussion about the white steering wheels...
